What these figures mean

The six measures describe different parts of the financial system. They are shown separately, without an overall score, investment signal or prediction of household distress.

Sources, coverage & comparability

S01 and S02 are RBA-published ratios. S03 and S04 are YSE Finance ratios calculated from APRA QPEX amounts. S05 and S06 are APRA statistical ratios converted to percentage presentation. Each card retains its observation period and release date.

Housing interest is not total mortgage repayments: principal is excluded. S02 has no supported June 2026 observation in this source vintage. APRA mortgage measures cover all ADIs excluding other ADIs, Level 2. CET1 comparisons across the 2023 capital-framework change require caution; NSFR covers the relevant regulated institutions, not the same population as CET1. Historical data may be revised.

Source-file checks recorded: 17 October 2026. Presentation reviewed: 30 October 2026. These dates do not change the source releases or imply live refresh. Original file hashes, series metadata and calculation provenance remain in the unchanged source records.
